Use this recovery time, this much-needed dating detox, to figure out a calmer and more rewarding dating strategy – one that you have the time to enjoy, and one that may yield the perfect partner.

Dating Detox: Uncomfortable déjà vu

Some signs that you are in need of a dating detox can really shake your world. Uncomfortable déjà vu is certainly one of those signs. Some people who date a great deal find themselves on a date with a particular person saying and hearing a bunch of the same old things. They hear the same joke and respond to it in the same way. Then they wonder if they actually recognise the person they are dating.

It couldn’t be possible could it? Could this be a repeat date? It does happen. However, what happens far more often is that daters suffer that uncomfortable déjà vu about a date without any real grounds. The confusion just comes from the fact that they have dated too many people who are quite similar and this suggests a rethink is needed.
